Mujna is one of the villages who participates at Fruits Festival not only with their marmelades and syrups, but also with their natural teas. A few families deal with gathering and processing herbs: the elder generations would like to pass on their knowledge, while the younger persons are at the other side very interested about the processing and sale possibilities of natural medicinal plants. The most prevalent herbs are: St John’s wort, swallowwort – the letter being used for eye disease and warts. In many households people make vinegar from apple or sour cherry, which is used with medicinal purposes.
Thank them for their hospitality!
