Within the framework of the project entitled “Supporting the Activities and Programs of the Transylvanian Medicinal Plant Garden Association”, implemented with the support of the Bethlen Gábor Foundation in 2025, our association organized a series of professional programs for its members and for people interested in medicinal plants.

The aim of the project was to organize training courses and practical activities, as well as to provide opportunities for professional exchange of experience. As part of the program, in June 2025 we organized a guided medicinal plant walking tour, during which participants had the opportunity to learn about the medicinal flora of the Odorhei region, plant identification methods, and principles of sustainable harvesting.

In February 2026, we took part in a two-day professional study visit in Ciucsângeorgiu and Miercurea Ciuc. Participants visited production units and laboratories, attended professional presentations, and joined the program of the 9th International Horticultural Days and Conference, where they gained deeper insight into current topics in medicinal plant processing, horticulture, and local product development.

The support received contributed significantly to ensuring the operation of our association, the implementation of training courses, and the professional development of our community.
